Reservations Form

 
The Reservations Form allows you to register reservations for customers during their call serving or after call time. In the same form you are able to view the pending reservations per customer and some reservation details.

The Reservations Form consist of three sections for data entry, the Calendar, the Customer Details and Reservation Details sections, and a Map frame which are described extensively below.

Reservation Calendar

 
This is a simple monthly calendar, which displays the current month days and allows you move to next or previous months for the reservation needs.
Opening the form the calendar has the active month view, highlighting the current day in a red circle .

Calendar Options - Shortcuts for Date Selection
 
1. Multiple Selection with left - Click.
By holding the  right click you can mark and select multiple dates in the way shown below.
 
2. Multiple Selection with using CNTRL
By holding the CNTRL button you can click and select multiple dates.
 
3. Multiple Selection with left Click & CNTRL button.
By holding the CNTRL button and the left click you can mark and select multiple dates in the way shown below.

 
When you open the reservation form of a specific customer, giving his details in the section below, the calendar indicates with green color the days that has one or more stored reservations for this customer . The number of the saved reservation per day are shown on the upper lest side of the day's number.
To view the customer' s reservation on the calendar, you have to check the "Show Customer' s Reservations" check box  , under the calendar.
 
You can also view all the stored reservation for a specific day, by double - clicking on the days number on calendar. A new table opens, displaying all the reservation have been stored for that specific day. Using this table you can store the data of a selected reservation on the form and also to delete a reservation.

Customer Details

The customer details section displays the information of the customer for whom the reservation(s) will be register or have  already registered to the system.

When you open the reservation form to serve a customer's on line call request, the form automatically loads the customers data that you have on line. Otherwise, if you open the form without having a call on line, you have to fill by yourself the sections fields with the customer's information you want.

Reservation Details

3. Reservation Details
The reservation section allows you give some necessary  details for the reservation you are going to make. You have to fill in the needed information before save the new reservation to the system.
 
Description of input fields
Time:
The time of the reservation serving
[Time]
i.e. 11:30
How many minutes before will the system enable the notification
[number]
i.e. 15 min
Destination:
 The destination address
[Text]
i.e. 1920-2016  Harvard Ave.
Cust. Comments:
Comments for the customers if needed
[Text]
i.e. 2 big bags
Call Comments:
Comments for the specific call
[text]
i.e. box transfer
Call Type:
The type of the specific call. Select from a predefined  list.
Choose also if the call is incoming or outcoming.

The car type that the customer request for.

Map Frame

 
This frame displays a dynamic geographic map, extending usually over the service area of the car base that has been defined at the installation process. You can use the map to view the specific customer's location or to point out a location as destination of a reservation.  The customer's locations are indicated on the map with the "point" icon.
 
4. Map Frame
 
The map frame supports four different map providers (Google, Yahoo, Bing, Open Street) allowing you to select the one you prefer for data viewing. You can select the map provider or switch between the available, clicking on the "map type" icon on the upper left side of the frame. Each provider has available three different map types to select, Road map, Satellite map and Hybrid map.
 
You can interact with the map and navigate to different map areas using your mouse with the following actions. 
Zoom In /Out
 
Roll  mouse wheel back and forth
Pan
 
Hold down left-click and drag
Add point
 
Right-Click on a specific location on the map
Return pointer address
 
Push down mouse wheel
 
To print a specific map view, click on the "print" icon on the upper left side of the frame.
