The Options Menu includes a list of commands and options which handles alarm, message, map display, radio communication settings and regional settings, such as language, currency and distance.
Options Menu
You can open the File menu, by clicking on it, and view the list with all available settings, sorted per section. To explore the commands, select one command per time and click on it to open or activate. Check the commands description below, to learn more about their functions .
Mute Alarm
This option enables and disables the alarm popup window, which appears on application's screen when a car is in alarm. When Mute Alarm option is enabled, a "check mark" appears on the left of the option.
Autofocus on Alarm
This option enables and disables the automatic map focusing on the car that sent an alarm signal. In active mode, the autofocus function triggered when the Call Center receives a alarm signal from a car. When Autofocus on Alarm option is enabled, a "check mark" appears on the left of the option.
Show Incoming Messages
This option enables and disables the
Message Table that is by default placed under the Map Frame. When the Show Incoming Messages option is enabled,
a "check mark" appears on the left of the option.
Chat
Chat is a platform that enables instant messaging to a particular user or all of the users at once.
The chat option, enables and disables the Chat window for the message communication of the center's workstations.
Sound Notification on New Message
This option enables and disables the sound notification when a new message arrives. When "Sound Notification on New Message" is enabled, a "check mark" appears on the left of the option.
Autosave New Customer
This option enables and disables the Autosave New Customer function. In active mode, the system creates automatically a new customer profile for each unknown telephone number call. The telephone number and other call data of new customer are automatically saved on customers database table. When Autosave option is enabled, a "check mark" appears on the left of the option.
Search Address
With the Search Address parameter you can choose the geographic database background that will be used for the customers address geo-coding procedure. Serving a call, the system searches at a specific geographic database to calculate the coordinates of the customers location, based on the given address. The system can search for the location of an address, either searching on local cartographic data, or using the Google Maps database.
The system has been set by default to use the local database that covers the geographic area of car base.
Selecting
Search Address --> Google option
you can change the cartographic database to google maps. In this case, the geo-fence icon
is automatically activated on the
Call Management Frame toolbar. With the geo-fence tool, you can define your area of interest, by drawing a virtual fence on the map, in which the system are going to search for the customer location. This option helps the system focus on a smaller database area, boosting the searching procedure.
Hide Map
This option hides the
Map Frame from the main window. When "
Hide Map" is enabled,
a "check mark" appears on the left of the option. To show the map again, deselect this option.
Radio
The Radio function can be used only if a CB UHF Communication has been established. It opens a submenu with a list of predefined radio signals, where you can choose the signals you want to monitor on the
Car Frame. The system stores five unique codes that correspond to five different radio signals types. You can choose some or all of them by clicking on those you prefer.
Personalize UI
By selecting this option, the user interface is restored to factory defaults which means that any personalized settings and options will be lost. This option refers only to the user interface appearance and does not affect the system's database where call history and clients are stored.
