Incoming Messages TableThe Incoming Messages Table displays in rows the messages that the call center receives from drivers while they are serving a call. This table is a look up table that only displays in real time the incoming unread messages that have been sent from the driver's connected tablets via the IQTaxi Driver Application.
Each incoming text message is displayed on the Message Table providing all the needed information in the table's five columns. In particular, the table gives the following information per message.
You are able to view all the incoming messages to the call center or to view only the messages arrived to your work station by clicking on the "Show/Hide messages from all call centers" icon , placed on the upper left side of the table. Clicking on this icon you switch between these two conditions.
You are also able to clear the table from the old messages, marking them as "read", by clicking on the "Mark All Read" icon , placed on the upper left side of the table. You can view again the deleted messages opening the Messages Tab, where are stored and displayed all the sent and received messages.
Message's types
The messages that arrived on this table could be categorized into the auto-response messages and the predefined messages.
The auto-response messages are messages that the Driver App sends automatically to the call center when the driver responded that has arrived to customer via the app interface (tap on "Arrived to Customer" button, serving a call). The auto-response messages are the "ARRIVED TO CUSTOMER" and the "LATE PICKUP", which are triggered when the driver push (tap) the "Arrived to Customer" button on his tablet. If the driver arrived to a customer into an accepted time frame the tablet sends the "ARRIVED TO CUSTOMER " text with green colour. Otherwise, if the driver exceeded this time frame, the tablet sends the "LATE PICKUP" text with purple colour.
The IQTaxi Driver app have available some predefined texts for messages, which can be used by drivers to speed up the procedure. The predefined texts are indicated on the table using different colours, one for each message type. When you receive a predefined message the message's row is colored with the corresponding colour by the system. The default predefined texts and their colours are described below.
