Car Server Menu

Car Server Menu includes only the Restart server command which must be used in special cases, under administrator's monitoring.

1. Restart Server

By selecting Restart Server, the system restarts the central server, named Taxi Server. Taxi Server handles the interactive communication between the IQTaxi System parts, which are the Call Center application, the vehicles app and the passengers app.

With click on the Restart Server option, a dialog box appears for the confirmation of the action.

To restart the server, click on Yes button. The restart procedure will initiate and the dialog box will close, returning to the main window of the application. To close the dialog box without restarting the server, select No.

After restarting the Taxi Server, it is not necessary to restart the application. The system will automatically connect the TaxiServer with the Call center application.

You can be informed for the server's communication status by checking the Taxi Server Status icon (

), on the bottom left corner.

2. Reload Taxi Stands info

Reloads the information available for the Taxi Stands.

3. Elastic Monitor

You can choose a way to reload the elastic monitor.

4. Reconnect to Database

The connection with the database is reestablished.

5. Show Destination

Shows the Destination of a ride.

*This mode can be activated or deactivated by clicking on the option.

6. Show Pickup

Shows the Pickup of a ride.

*This mode can be activated or deactivated by clicking on the option.
