An Overview of System Architecture

The IQTaxi System consists of 3 main branches.

1. The Server where the DataBase resides and the TaxiServer application runs which executes the dispatch routine, connects the Lan and Wan clients (call operators and drivers), and the passenger apps.

2. The Call Operators application, the CallCenter executable for which this manual is about, and the Web Call Center which is the Web version of the CallCenter app.

3. The Driver application and the Passenger applications.

 

All three have as a connecting base the TaxiServer application, which is responsible for the connection of all subsystems.

 

Additionally there are extensions to the system which are:

1. Statistics application.

2. Accounting application.

3. Telephone center interconnection and manipulation.

4. Zones and Taxi stands creation application.

5. SMS messaging bridge to provide verification for passengers account activation.
